It was a tremendously exciting season opener for the 2013 GT Asia Series held today where Peter Li Zhi Cong claimed the win in his Porsche 997 GT3 R on a very wet Twin Ring Motegi circuit. He was followed across the line by reigning Champion, Mok Weng Sun in the McLaren 12C GT3 in second and Tunku Hammam, who paired up with Ro-Charlz in Team Clearwater Racing’s Lamborghini LP560 GT3 in third.

The first season for the GT4 Asia Cup Championship was a tight battle all the way, ending up in a three way tie between Daniel Bilski, Ryan Marsden and Mark Williamson. Bilski however was crowned the Champion based on the higher amount of wins that he has collected over his rivals during the year.
The regulations allowed the drivers to drop their two lowest scores, leaving the top three all with 52 points.

 Reigning Porsche Carrera Cup Asia champion Christian Menzel of Germany and Hong Kong’s Marchy Lee will do battle for the 2010 title in what promises to be two epic races at the Zhuhai International Circuit on November 6 and 7.
For the first time, Asia’s premier sportscar championship will support the Inter-continental Le Mans Cup, and it will be a true Porsche family affair in the southern Pan Delta Region as the Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid, which impressed at the Nürburgring 24-hour race earlier this year, will be racing in the 1,000km of Zhuhai.

It was an action packed race that greeted the fans at Autopolis Circuit during the combined GT3 Asia and the GT4 Asia Cup race held today. Dilantha Malagamuwa beat the odds and took home the 2010 GT3 Asia Championship win ahead of Tunku Hammam who went to Japan with a 20 point lead.
The GT4 Asia race was also won by the dynamic pairing of Concord Dynaten Motorsports duo, Ryan Marsden and Mark Williamson for Round 8 of the GT4 Asia Cup.

Carlos Sainz Junior (ESP/16/Eurointernational) conquered the notorious 6.2km Guia Circuit, with a lights-to-flag victory in the final Formula BMW race in support of the 57th Macau Grand Prix. Eurointernational swept the podium as Tomoki Nojiri (JPN/21) and Tom Blomqvist (GBR/16) finished second and third, respectively.
Dustin Sofyan (INA/16/Eurointernational) finished fourth overall, his highest Formula BMW Pacific finish ever, while Formula BMW Pacific Junior Kotaro Sakurai (JPN/15/Eurasia Motorsport) rounded out the top five.
