Company Background

The development of AFOS owes much to MAL, a company set up in 1996 by David Sonenscher. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of motor sport as a driver, team manager and now series organiser and promoter. Being the region’s leading fully integrated motor sport focused company, MAL is on the cutting edge of developments in the motor sport business through its extensive network of international expertise, combined with local know-how.

Ties with international media, regional motor sport authorities and circuit owners have helped create a highly successful regional motor sport event. MAL aims to develop Asian motor sport and build strong, lasting and mutual benefit relationships between sponsors, teams, circuit owners, fans and the media: and to offer spectators and television audiences the chance to enjoy the most talented Asian racing starts in one power-packed event.

MAL also produces television programmes featuring Asian Touring Car Series, Formula V6 Asia, Formula BMW Asia and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia races. The programmes are broadcast globally in over 70 countries on both satellite and terrestrial channels, to a potential audience of over 1.7 billion, including the ESPNSTAR Sports network.
