It has quickly become the premier sportscar series in the region with a massive fan and media following, proving itself to be a highly-competitive and professional racing series, while at the same time building an impressive reputation. Since its debut in 2003, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia has visited China, Macau, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand. In 2009, the series will once again support the Singapore leg of the 2009 FIA Formula 1 World Championship on the Marina Bay street circuit.
